Charlotte and Rylan met me for some snowy winter couples photos. It was a beautiful day and they brought the heat! It was super cold and we had actually considered canceling. It had been one of the coldest and windiest days so far that winter! But, often the worst weather makes for some of the best photos. I asked if they would be ok if I brought some hot chocolate and cozy blankets, and they decided to go for it! We ended up with a beautiful day of sunshine and fresh snow.
It was so fun meeting them! We had known each other on Instagram for a long time. Finally meeting in person felt like catching up with old friends! Charlotte creates amazing DIY videos for her blog – you can check her out on Instagram! The first time we hung out we went for Hot Pot and she had to teach me how to eat it, which was pretty funny!
They’re super into winter and love the snow. They skate and snowboard together, so I knew they would be down to play in the snow.
I’m always booked solid all summer… but not a lot of people opt for snowy winter couples photos.
What a lot of people don’t realize though is that you can have SO much fun with winter photos! If it’s cold out, we can build a little campfire, and cozy mitts and hats are so cute.
