Fatima and Daniel joined me to get some updated cute couples photos. We ventured around downtown Ottawa and had such a great time! They wanted a laid-back, 90’s vibe, so we planned everything out in advance and then just chilled around town while the sun went down!
Fatima and Daniel are souls after my own heart! They met a long time ago, and then reconnected at a cottage party and got together. They love fried rice, watching anime, and do bubble tea dates. They’re both students but feel like old souls.
They’re a super laid back pair and were so excited to get some cute couples photos together!
When I asked why they wanted to do a shoot with me, Fatima said, “We’d like photos that when we hang them, we can see how happy and in love we were and will always be. :)”
Because they wanted a chill vibe for their shoot (and prints to hang up), we planned a bit in advance. We came up with a special location for them, went through and picked out their fave comfy outfits, and talked about the process and what to expect.

I always recommend couples do some photos before their wedding so they can have a different vibe, and also realize how fun it can be. Couples sessions are just SO much fun, because there’s no pressure! You get to just be yourselves, go to a favourite spot, and have an adventure with your fave third wheel (me!).
