I'm a wedding photographer based in Ottawa Ontario, but travels worldwide. My photography approach is intentional, honest and editorial. An organic approach to capture fleeting moments. This blog lives to inspire your wedding photos and provide you planning tips.
Between Toronto and Ottawa is where you’ll find Prince Edward County. A quaint and picturesque town, the best Prince Edward County wedding venues can be discovered surrounded by great establishments, sandy dune beaches, and right in the middle of wine county. Although it has become more well-known in recent years, it remains calm enough to visit it’s famous beaches or wine tour around the county. Visitors can be accomodated in the most gorgeous Airbnbs, or you can even elope! There are so many locations to suit your wedding day, from editorial and private to a more old-school feel, there’s a venue for every couple!
The best location for a personal wedding is PEC. If you’re intentional but more laid back, this location meets your vibe perfectly! On the island of Prince Edward County is Sandbanks Provincial Park. Easily accessible by car within three hours from Ottawa, Ontario. Similarly, it is two hours and thirty minutes from Toronto. Flights to and from locations worldwide land at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
When making a reservation at one of these local venues, it’s important to take peak seasons into account. Spring and fall are a little less congested than summer, which is when most people visit. In comparison to other seasons, winter is far calmer.
