Brittney and Nick’s Wedding at Strathmere, more specifically the Farmhouse was highly anticipated. I’ve been in contact with Brittney for months. I think it’s safe to say that we clicked right off the bat. It was such a joy getting to capture Nick and Brittney’s wedding.

Strathmere Wedding Venue, The Farmhouse

I loved the Farmhouse!!! It was perfect for our size wedding and the rooms were a great size that you would bump into people everywhere and start up a conversation. The decor itself was so beautiful we didn’t even have to decorate! Mel and her team did an amazing job at serving and organizing that we didn’t have to do anything but show up! Was super relaxed and I have had many people tell me they loved our wedding because it was so relaxed!

What was the most unforgettable part of your wedding day?

Saying our wedding vows alone right before our ceremony started. It’s something personal to us and was relaxing to get our emotions out of the way before being in front of everyone. I still can picture every moment of us looking at each other and reading our vows. Very intimate, which I’m glad Mary suggested to us!

Advice for couples planning their wedding

what worked and what didn’t work you will definitely have bumps along the way thats just weddings/ planning haha don’t let the small things bug you. It’s really just about celebrating your love. I would say having someone record a few moments like people dancing etc would be good because you end up feeling all over the place, it’s nice to look back and relive the moment/ remember haha

What was it like working with your photographer?

Mary was great and has a bubbly personality! She got so many beautiful shots of us and preserved my favourite memory of us saying our vows to each other in the beautiful window. My guest said she was everywhere lol running around getting candid photos.
