I’ve taken photos of Milena’s family growing and it’s been such a treat. This time around we decided to change it up and go to Petrie Island for their Beach Family Photo. Petrie Island is located on the Ottawa River, a 23-minute drive from downtown Ottawa on the East Side Just off of Orleans.
A great spot to enjoy summer activities, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, beach volleyball or just laying on the sand.
HOT TIP: If you are planning a session here, plan for an early morning shoot since this area does get packed. If that doesn’t work golden hour (an hour before sunset) is also a great option there will just be a little bit more people.
